Nostalgia; Reflection

One of the first films I ever shot, my objective was to capture something compelling in nature. I happened upon a mother and her children and had to film them playing by a stream. Notice the sound of the projector, which attempts to evoke a sense of nostalgia and calm - a moment in time captured and to be relived by others. There is also an underlying tension between the beauty of the scene and its voyeuristic element.
